Kentland, IN (Monday, June 25, 2017) – The Newton County / Benton County associations of the United Methodist Church also known as the “PentaCluster +1†is pleased to announce that in addition to bringing quality Christian entertainment to the Newton County Pun'kin Vine Fair, they will be hosting a community hog roast. Beginning at 5 pm, the PentaCluster will be serving smoked and pulled pork that has been cooked fresh, on site, from early that morning; along with coleslaw, bread and beverage. The best part of it is that it will be a free will donation for the meal. All proceeds will go to the dinner next year as well as booking our next free concert entertainer(s). The meal will be served from 5:00 to 6:45 pm or until the food runs out by the sheep barn on the grounds. Seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. Entertainment will begin at 7:00 pm. On stage this year will be the Annie Wade Band. This band travels from Virginia to Illinois, Indiana and Michigan, bringing exhilarating Southern Gospel Bluegrass music to anyone who would sit back and enjoy. Just like the meal, there is no charge for this concert. We will though, take up an offering to share with the band to help defray their expenses coming to Kentland.
